Fragrant Asian Marinated Pork Steak

Quantity Ingredient
4 Mt Mercer Pork Steaks – Loin Steak / Scotch
¼ cup Soy sauce
2 tsp Sesame oil
1 clove Garlic, crushed
2 tblsp Lime juice
1 tsp Fish sauce
  Steamed Asian greens to serve
  Lime wedges to serve

Method: Stove Top

  1. Trim pork steaks and place in a shallow non–metallic dish.

  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, lime juice and fish sauce and pour over the steaks. Allow to marinate for up to 4 hours, turning frequently.

  3. Heat a griddle pan over medium heat for 3 - 4 minutes and cook steaks for 3 – 4 minutes each side. Rest prior to slicing.

  4. Serve over braised Asian greens with a wedge of lime.
Notes: Pork fillet may be used in place of loin steaks in this dish.
